Colorado Draft Horse Classic

Located conveniently along Interstate 70, next to the Colorado River. Rifle is located in Garfield County and is the location of the Garfield County Fairgrounds.
To reach the fairgrounds: (from I-70) Take the Rifle exit, Exit 90; go north toward town; go straight through the stoplight at Hwy. 6 and up Railroad Avenue; pass through the stop lights located at Third Street, Fifth Street and Ninth Street; the fairgrounds are 1/2 block up on your left.

Coming south down Hwy. 13: Come all the way into town;
pass through the stop lights at 16th Street and at the City Market intersection; the fairgrounds are located approximately two blocks further on your right.
(Go straight down Railroad to the main entrance)

The Garfield County Fairgrounds consists of a 225' x 140' indoor arena, a 250' x 150' outdoor arena, 196 stalls, and 3 meeting rooms/banquet halls and a 7/8 mile race track. The facility hosts a wide variety of events throughout the year. Rifle's indoor arena opened in the spring of 2001 and has hosted a variety of events from the NBHA CO-04 District Barrel Racing finals to weddings, concerts, indoor soccer, and trade shows for the oil and gas industry. They have recently added larger stalls and resurfaced the existing stall floors, also adding more electrical outlets and lighting. RV and Camper electrical outlets are now available on the east side of the track nearest Railroad avenue. Sewer and water hookups are planned later in the renovations, but will not be available for our show.

The Garfield County Fairgrounds now has 20 electricity hookups for campers.They are located on the back of the track near Railroad Avenue. So reserve your space early. The price of the hookuips are $20.00 a night. No sewer or water hookups are available. Showers are available on the fairgrounds.
NO OVERNIGHT TIEING OF ANIMALS TO TRAILERS ALLOWED! This will be strictly enforced!
